“YOU’RE TEARING ME APART LISA!” – The Room (2003)
“The Citizen Kane of bad movies” is no kind thing to say about a film, but in this case, Entertainment Weekly got it spot on. Tommy Wiseau’s melodramatic romance is one of the worst films you will ever see – poor acting, poor cinematography, an uninteresting story and some unimaginative dialogue all contribute to the overwhelming shoddiness of this film. As a result, The Room has garnered a cult following among people who found comedic merit in scenes such as the one above, where Wiseau’s character explodes in the most unconvincing portrayal of a lover pushed too far that has ever been put to screen. Dramatic fist clenching ensues.
