Jamie Lee Curtis returns for her final confrontation with the clearly disturbed Michael Myers.

Horror film fans are working themselves into frenzy over the release of the new 2018 horror sensation, Halloween!

Check out the official trailer.

In the original horror classic, a six-year old Myers brutally murders his sister and spends the next 15 years in prison. Yet, on 30th October 1978 Myers somehow manages to escape Smith’s Grove Sanitarium and returns to his hometown of Haddonfield thirsty for more blood and murderous behaviour.

The new film which is set 40 years after the original 1978 horror where we were first introduced the frightening character of Michael Myers, is placed as a direct sequel to the original, ignoring all the other Halloween films in between. This is clearly a good thing!

This October will see Michael Myers return who has managed to escape prison, but this time Lee Curtis’ character, Laurie Strode is both organised and unyielding with the idea, that this time she is going to kill Myers.

There is no doubt that this modern sequel looks just as scary, heart-stopping and disturbing as the original and the second trailer has dropped, showing Myers and Strode doing battle.

Its been far too long since we had a good horror and this sure is one we cannot wait for!

Halloween will be hit UK cinemas on October 19, just in time to watch on HALLOWEEN!
