This is what the original Bioshock looks like running on Unreal Engine 4

A YouTuber has uploaded a video of Bioshock running through Epic Games’ latest engine. See the results here

Are you a fan of Irrational Games’ underwater dystopia, but wished it was darker, dingier, and just a bit more drippy? Well wish no more! YouTuber noodlespagoodle has taken a bunch of Bioshock’s assets and run them through Epic Games’ latest engine.

The result is more detailed environments, an impressive bump in texture resolution, and some seriously moody lightning. It’s still a bit rough around the edges, and Bioshock Infinite’s Burial at Sea DLC already has some lovely underwater graphics, but this video almost makes me wish for a full-blown remake of the original. The uploader has promised more footage of Bioshock running on Unreal Engine 4 if his video does well, so if you want to see more why not give it a click below.
