8. Mr. Creosote – Monty Python’s Meaning of Life (1979)

Creosote is one of those bittersweet Python sketches that is, like most Python, undeniably brilliant, but has been ruined by being horrendously over-quoted. “But sir, eet ees only waffer theen”, is one of those lines that people who don’t really know Python quote, usually adjacent to “he’s not the messiah! he’s a very naughty boy!” Nevertheless, Creosote is one of the classiest examples of a morbidly obese, vomiting man exploding all over a restaurant full of diners that has ever been committed to film.
