The Passion of the Christ (2004)
Impressively, The Passion of the Christ is both the highest-grossing non-English language film ever made and the highest-grossing Christian snuff film ever made. Jesus Christ, Catholic messiah, gets a good going over in graphic scenes of torture as he clambers uphill so that he can be nailed to some wood. The point being that he endured all this hideous bodily harm for you, the viewer. It begs the question why would anyone spend 120 minutes of their life watching something that is ultimately designed to make them feel terrible about themselves?
