Monty Python & The Holy Grail is one of the best-loved comedies, and to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the theatrical re-release, Terry Gilliam has released deleted animation from the film.
The Brazil and 12 Monkeys director also provides commentary (which he admits is “low quality” – “remember I’m not getting paid for this commentary so the low quality of information you’re getting is a result of that”) – but it’s actually very entertaining.
The deleted animation includes cut scenes of “The Tale of Sir Robin,” “Elephant & Castle,” “Run Away!” and “The Tale of Sir Lancelot”. Watch below:
